As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, Kate is hosting her annual Fairtrade coffee morning on Friday 1 March at the Parish Hall in Christ Church, Davyhulme between 11am and 12.30pm.
This year Kate is joined by special guest, His Worshipful, the Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Tom Ross, who’s eager to show his support for Fairtrade locally.
All attendees will have the opportunity to discuss any matters of concern with Kate over a cup of fair trade tea or coffee, as well as sample some fabulous cakes, biscuits and other delights – all home-made with fair trade ingredients.
All are welcome to attend, and any funds raised in donations will go to Action Aid.
This year Fairtrade Fortnight is between 25 February and 10 March.
Kate said, “Once again I’m really pleased to be supporting Fairtrade by hosting my annual coffee morning, and it’s great that the Mayor is coming along to show his support.
“It’s a great chance for me to have a chat and a cuppa with constituents as well as enjoy some delicious cakes – and all for a good cause!
