Kate Green Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston

Today in Parliament Kate asked for a debate on behalf of constituents in Woodsend who’ve had problems with Persimmon, including shoddy building work and poor customer service. MPs up and down the country told me that their constituents had difficulties with Persimmon too, I discussed this with the Leader of the House and she was very receptive to having a debate on a mandatory ombudsman scheme for housebuilders. I’m hopeful that this debate will take place when parliament is back from the summer recess and will keep residents informed.
