Kate is hosting her annual Christmas coffee morning on Friday 21 December, 10am to 11.30am, in Christ Church, Davyhulme.

All are welcome to drop in to have a chat with Kate, and enjoy a mince pie.

In return for some festive treats at the coffee morning, Kate is kindly asking everyone to bring an item to donate to Stretford foodbank.

Kate said: “I’m pleased to be hosting my annual Christmas coffee morning and hope as many people as possible come to enjoy a cup of coffee and a cake.

“I’d be really grateful if everyone coming along could bring a tin to donate to the Stretford Foodbank.  I think it’s appalling that people rely on Foodbanks in this country. But it’s still really important that we support those in need, especially in the run up to Christmas.

“Stretford Foodbank do excellent work in our community and rely on donations to help people in crisis, so it would be great to show our support.

“For more information, or to let me know if you’d like to come along to the coffee morning, please call my office on 0161 749 9102 or e-mail kate.green.mp@parliament.uk.”
