Kate Green Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston
Kate spoke in a Westminster Hall debate about facial recognition technology, following an Manchester Evening News report about the technology being used in the intu Trafford Centre.
Kate said, “Like all my constituents, I want technology to be sued effectively to keep us safe and protect us from crime, but there are important questions about the use of this technology, including privacy concerns and possible ethnic bias.”
