Kate has launched a survey to find out what residents think about the frequency of local train services.

Kate said, “lots of people locally rely on the train services – and the number of people who use our local train stations has gone up massively over the past few years.

According to statistics from Northern Rail, the number of people who use the local stations in my constituency (Flixton, Chassen Road, Urmston, Humphrey Park, Trafford Park) has gone up by more than 300,000 over the past 10 years. “However, I know that infrequent and unreliable services can be really frustrating, particularly at weekends.

“Your local Labour team and I would like to hear from you about when you use the service, and whether you’d benefit from more frequent services to and from your local station, so that we can campaign for better transport for our local community. We’d be really grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill out the survey.”

The survey is available to complete, online here.
