As the coronavirus continues to spread, I’ll be doing my best to provide regular updates to constituents. Clearly, this is a very serious situation which continues to deteriorate. I know our community is resilient and will do everything we can to support each other through this challenging time. I will be monitoring developments as the government responds to this unfolding crisis.
Understandably, I’m receiving a great deal of correspondence from worried constituents. I’m reading every message and doing my best to respond as best and as quickly as possible in a rapidly-changing and uncertain situation.
Following advice from the government and the Speaker’s Office in the House of Commons, I have cancelled all face-to-face surgery appointments and my constituency office has closed with my staff working remotely to provide advice and assistance where possible. If you have a query please do not ring my office and leave a message but please e-mail email@example.com and I will do my best to help.
I will try and keep my website and social media pages as up to date as possible so, in the first instance, please check these pages to see if I’ve provided an update which answers your query. You can also find lots of information on the following pages:

Please do keep in touch with any issues that aren’t covered by the information above. Please also bear in mind that strict parliamentary rules mean that I can only act on behalf of my constituents. Before getting in touch, or getting in touch on behalf of someone else, please do check that I’m your MP or the MP of the person who needs help. You can do this online here https://members.parliament.uk/constituencies/ to ensure that you can get advice as quickly as possible.
