Kate urges Stretford and Urmston residents to register to vote

Kate has urged everyone in Stretford and Urmston to make sure they are registered to vote by Monday 22nd May, ito be able to have their say in the general election on Thursday 8th June.

Getting on the register takes less than five minutes and can be done online here.

Everyone needs to register individually - nobody can do it for you and if you miss the 22nd May deadline then you will miss out on your chance to have your say in the election.

If you think you might be away on Thursday 8th June, or can't make it to the polling station between 7am and 10pm then you can register for a postal vote online here. You need to apply for a postal vote by 5pm on Tuesday 23rd May and post it back by 10pm on Thursday 8th June.
