Kate has been re-elected as MP for Stretford and Urmston with an increased majority.

Kate received 33,519 votes (66.8 per cent).

Kate said:"I'm so proud to be re-elected as MP for Stretford and Urmston with an increased majority.

"While I was out and about chatting to voters during the campaign, it was great to hear that many people were voting Labour because of the work I've done as MP for constituents and  the responsive service they get from my office. I might get the credit for this, but it's really all thanks to my office staff for their hard work and dedication!

"As your MP, I promise to continue to be visible in our community and carry on working hard to stand up for Stretford and Urmston in parliament."
