Thanks to all residents who've got in touch about the abysmal Northern Rail service through the constituency in recent weeks.
I just wanted to assure you that I have been in regular email correspondence with Northern’s management. I have made clear to them my concerns about the unacceptable level of service they have been providing and how difficult it is for passengers to claim compensation. I have also raised concerns with the Rail Minister in Parliament.
I am planning to meet managers from Northern shortly and promise to let you know the outcome of that meeting.
