Disclaimer: during the general election

At midnight on Wednesday 3rd May, the 2015 parliament will be formally dissolved, and there will be no MPs until after the general election on 8th June.

Though Kate will be out and about campaigning as a candidate for re-election, the dissolution of parliament means that, legally, because she’s not an MP she has to stop all but essential day to day parliamentary business during the campaign.

That means Kate won’t be holding her regular advice surgeries, and won’t be able to take up problems with government ministers or other bodies - although it will be possible for her to conduct some emergency casework.

If you think Kate can be of help during the dissolution period (from 3 May to 9 June), you can contact her on 0161 749 9120 or email kate_green@labour.org.uk, and Kate and her team will be happy to help as much as they can.
