Families
Kate says: “On the day Labour announces the opening of the 3,500th children’s centre, I’m asking you to back our campaign to save our Sure Start. I know how much parents value Sure Start. That’s why I’m asking you to log on to www.saveoursurestart.com to show your support.”
David Cameron says he wants to help ordinary families. But his promises are all about helping rich people. His tax cuts worth £200,000 to the 3,000 wealthiest estates in the country would have to be paid for by cuts to the police and education. He promises a cash handout to married couples – which would help the better off. He wants to cut Sure Start and remove the child trust fund which most families are entitled to, and which gives your child a lump sum when he or she turns 18.
We can’t afford the change the Tories are offering. We can’t trust David Cameron when he promises to protect frontline services. That’s why I’m supporting the shoutoutforasurestart campaign – add your support at http://shoutoutforasurestart.org.uk/
